St. Vincent is always in need of gently-used furniture. In the aftermath of the Memorial Day tornadoes, our first priority is providing for furniture for tornado victims re-establishing their repaired residences, or moving into a new one. Donated furniture is also provided for our shelter guests moving from homelessness into their new homes. Finally, furniture vouchers are given by our 32 neighborhood Vincentian conferences to those struggling to maintain their permanent housing.
Our need for furniture for our neighbors is basic: A place to eat, a place to sleep and a place to sit.
The following donations can be dropped off at our Community Store, 945 S Edwin C Moses, Dayton 45417. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am–5 pm, and Saturday 10 am–4 pm.
