The Need is Great – Please Donate!

Guests at our shelter receive a place to sleep and daily meals, as well as clothing, toiletries, and other essential personal care items. Your generous donations of these items help us ensure each guest’s needs are met!

Donations can be dropped off at our CityThrift store, where everything is sorted and prioritized for our neighbors in need:
945 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. Dayton, OH 45417
Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

*Due to ongoing construction at the Apple St. shelter, the donation dock at 120 W. Apple St. is CLOSED. We apologize for any inconvenience.

You can also purchase items from our Amazon Wish List to be directly shipped to us at no extra cost.

 Items We Cannot Accept

While we can take and use just about anything, we encourage you to check the list of items below that we cannot accept. Although this is a fairly comprehensive list, there are always exceptions to every rule.

NOTE: We cannot accept furniture or bedding with visible rips, stains, tears or pet hairs. Would you please make sure your furniture, appliances, and household items are in clean and usable condition before donating?
