St. Vincent is always in need of gently-used furniture. Donated furniture is provided for our shelter guests moving from homelessness into their new homes. Additionally, furniture vouchers are given by our 32 neighborhood Vincentian conferences to those struggling to maintain their permanent housing.
Our need for furniture for our neighbors is basic: A place to eat, a place to sleep and a place to sit.
During the COVID-19 emergency, the following donations can be dropped off at our 24/7 Donation Center at 120 W. Apple Street.
- Mattresses (new or gently used with no rips, tears or stains)
- Beds including rails, headboard, and foot board
- Sofas, love seats, living room chairs, end tables
- Dining tables and chairs
- Cribs and crib mattresses (mattresses should be new or gently used─no rips, tears or stains)
For donations of very large and/or numerous items of furniture, we offer a free pickup service. To inquire about or schedule a pick-up, complete this form or call 937.425.0592.
