We so appreciate all the donations members of the community give us and we make sure we put them to good use. In fact, 88 cents of every dollar donated went directly back to Dayton through our programs and services in 2014. There’s a certain group of donors who give monthly and have given regularly to St. Vincent de Paul’s Mission for a while now. Their unwavering financial support, as well as all other donors and volunteers, has guaranteed that we can provide assistance, shelter, and hope for those who need it most in the Miami Valley since 1985. The Bed and Breakfast program has evolved over the years from a calendar, to monthly envelopes, to online donations. This program provides thousands of families and individuals more than just a place to sleep and food to eat; but a second chance at a stable, independent life.
St. Vincent de Paul is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Greater Dayton Area. We aid the homeless and impoverished by providing emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, food, clothing and household items, and guidance on the path to leading a self-sustaining life. The Dayton District Council is made up of a variety of programs and services including 35 chapters, or Conferences, with volunteers operating out of local parishes and universities. We provide help to individuals and families who are on the brink of losing their housing, those who are currently homeless, and those working to secure and maintain permanent housing.
Your financial gifts make a difference from bed to breakfast and beyond!
