Donation Drop Off

We make it easy for you to support our ministries with donations of new or gently used clothing, furniture, and household items by dropping off your items at one central location: our nonprofit CityThrift store. All donations are sorted and prioritized to meet the urgent needs of our neighbors staying in shelter or receiving other assistance from St. Vincent de Paul. Items not immediately needed by guests are sold in the thrift store to directly support our ministries.

Donations may be dropped off at CityThrift:
945 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. Dayton, OH 45417
Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
*Due to ongoing construction at the Apple St. shelter, the donation dock at 120 W. Apple St. is CLOSED. We apologize for any inconvenience!

While we can take, and use, just about anything, we encourage you to check our list of items that we cannot accept before dropping off a donation.

Donation Pick Up

St. Vincent de Paul Society, Dayton, provides free pickup of large or bulky items, or large quantities (for example, a house full of goods and furniture). Our routes cover most of the greater Miami Valley. Call 937.425.0592 to schedule your free pick up. Please note, we are currently scheduling pick-ups three weeks out due to large number of requests.

Priority Pick-Up with ReSupply

CityThrift has partnered with third-party logistics company ReSupply to help facilitate picking up donations from residential properties. Pickups as soon as two business days (Mon-Sat) subject to timeslot availability. Click the Donation Pickup button to schedule!
