 Call the local Catholic Church in your area and leave a message that includes your name, address, phone number and the best time to return your call. Click here to find your conference. A St. Vincent de Paul volunteer will return your call, usually within 24-48 hours,and you can discuss your needs in detail. If you are unable to find a church in your area, call the St. Vincent de Paul Administration Office at (937) 222-7349 for assistance.

Do you need food assistance?


The Food Pantry in the Community Store on Edwin C. Moses Blvd. is open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9:00am to 11:00am. Call (937) 222-7349, ext. 210 with questions.

Are you homeless?


Montgomery County residents are welcome to our shelter at any time. The Gateway Shelter for Women and Families is located at 120 W. Apple Street, Dayton, OH 45402. The Gettysburg Gateway for Men is located at 1921 S. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH 45417. You can find more information online. You do not need to make an appointment. If you are a non-Montgomery county residence, please call the shelter for more information. Call our Gateway Shelter for Men at (937) 222-7350 or the Gateway Shelter for Women and Families at (937) 461-7837 any time of day for more information.
